Yacht Club to be Featured on Local NBC Channel

Hit Local Television to Showcase Yacht Club Culinary Offerings

A popular television show series, “The Menu,” has added the Ocean Pines Yacht Club to its edible lineup of restaurants to showcase on the local NBC channel, WRDE Coast TV, a Lewes-based broadcast company.

The show’s videographer and producer, Nick Gruber of Blonde Cravings , filmed the segment on Monday, Aug. 13 at the waterfront facility in the heart of Ocean Pines, located at 1 Mumford's Landing. The segment features some of the restaurant's best-selling items and two mouthwatering cocktails.

“We are thrilled to invite WRDE's viewers into our coastal restaurant,” said Denise Sawyer, marketing and public relations director for Ocean Pines Association.

“If you’ve got waterfront views and tropical drinks on the brain, you’re certainly not alone. There’s no summer destination quite like the Ocean Pines Yacht Club. This complex, which is open to the public, features a swimming pool, tiki bar, full-service marina, live entertainment, daily happy hours and a restaurant.”

Yacht Club General Manager Lewis Sherman works with the newly hired restaurant management company, Matt Ortt Companies, and said the club offers a new experience to Ocean Pines residents and nonresidents.

The television show will air its new episode of the Yacht Club the first Saturday of September on WRDE at 9 a.m. A link to the video will be provided on this website after the video airs.
