Indoor Dining Returns

Indoor dining, with some limitations, will resume at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club starting this weekend.

The reopening was made possible by expanded orders from Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and the state Department of Health, announced on Wednesday evening. Requirements of the new order include a 50% capacity cap, and safety measures based on CDC guidelines.

According to a Ralph DeAngelus, cofounder of the Matt Ortt Companies that runs the Ocean Pines Yacht Club, indoor dining will resume at every other table, starting Friday, June 12 at 5 p.m. The bars will also be open, with every other bar stool removed.

Regular hours at the Yacht Club are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

DeAngelus said he hopes returning diners will enjoy all the new menu offerings at the Yacht Club and Beach Club, as well as visit the brand-new Clubhouse Bar and Grille, located inside the new Golf Clubhouse building.

"We're all really excited to let people back inside our three Ocean Pines restaurants,” DeAngelus said. “The community has been incredibly supportive of us when we were limited to just carryout and delivery, and they've been fantastic with our outdoor reopening so far. Now, with indoor dining too, we can't wait to see everyone and to show them all the great things we have planned for them."
