The Ocean Pines Yacht Club is getting a head start on St. Patrick's Day with Irish-inspired food, drinks and music on Saturday, March 14.
A special St. Patrick's Day menu - served all day long - will feature traditional holiday favorites with a Yacht Club twist. The regular menu will also be available. Menu items include:
Shepherd's Pie $14 - Lamb, carrots, onion, celery, peas, turnips, cooked in a Guinness demi and topped with Irish cheddar mashed potatoes
Bangers and Mash $14 - Sausage with onion gravy over mashed potatoes and peas
Traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage $14
Guinness-Braised Short Ribs $14 - Served with peas and Irish cheddar mashed potatoes
Smoked Salmon $14 - Served over potato cakes with chives and sour cream
Reuben $14 - Corned beef, kraut, Swiss cheese, thousand island dressing on rye
Drink specials include $4 Guinness, $5 Leprechaun Crushes, $6 Car Bombs and $6 Irish Crushes.
OC Bag Pipes will entertain diners with a late-afternoon musical performance, and Exit 93 will make an appearance in the Yacht Club ballroom from 5-9 p.m. There is no cover charge for Exit 93, and space will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
