Luau Party set for May 19

The Ocean Pines Yacht Club takes the traditional Hawaiian luau theme up a notch with a summer kick-off party with Polynesian dancing and an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast on Sunday, May 19 at 4 p.m.

"When you are surrounded by good people, great energy, beautiful environment and doing what you love to do it is a pleasure working at the Yacht Club," said Lia. Celebrate the spirit of aloha with tropical dancers, drummers and a show-stopping fire-knife performer.


The Yacht Club is hosting the public party to welcome the start of the summer season while celebrating Matt Ortt Companies' first anniversary as the management team of the amenity.


In the open-air dining area along the marina, folks will get a chance to delight in enthralling traditions from Polynesia, including dances from Samoa, Tonga and Hawaii.

Settle in for platters of roasted pig. Savor Fresh tuna poke, pineapple fried rice and Spam Delicacies.


The price per person is $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 6 and up, plus tax and gratuity. Children ages 5 and under are free.


"What a way to Kick the summer with a Authentic Polynesian-theme party, exciting new menu, delicious cocktails and fantastic bands from all over the tri-state area, playing all summer long on the patio," said Lia.
